As an ambitious player, I have learned a few important lessons while wagering over the decades. Whether you are partial to play at the ‘bricks and mortar’ casinos or the many net casinos. Below are my golden rules of betting, most of which may be judged common sense, but if followed they will help you go a long distance to departing with money in your account.
Rule 1: Go to a casino with a set number that you are ready and can manage to bet – How much would you spend for an evening out on diner, alcoholic beverages, cover charges and tips? This is a good sum to use.
Rule 2: Do not carry your cash card with you – or any means of drawing money out. Don’t worry about cash for the cab if you squander it all; most cab operators, in particular the cabs hailed at casinos, will take you to your apartment and will be more than happy to wait for the cash when you get home.
Rule three: Stick to your predetermined cap. I always envision what I would want to purchase if I profit. The last time I was able to go, I determined I’d really would love to buy a new digital camera which cost about $400, so that was my upper limit. As soon as I reached that sum, I quit. Just walk away. Even if Clairvoyant Carla herself gives you the next number for the roulette wheel, pay no attention to her and walk away. Leave comfortable in the knowledge that you will certainly be going into the mall and buying a great new toy!
Rule 4: Have fun. When you are "effervescent" you usually will win. It’s a fact. I don’t know the reason why, but it simply is. Just after it feels like a burden, or you are simply wagering to gain money you have lost, you usually will give up even more. When you are profiting, having an excellent experience with your mates, or your boyfriend, you usually will gain even more.
